What are brown wood looking cocoon type insects that attach to outside doors by their tiptop they almost have a spiral shaped cocoon outer makeup and i have to use my nail to unstick them seem lifeles?

I have those creatures outside my house walls as well. There has only been a few times in which I have seen a small reddish wormlike insect poke its head out. But the few times that they poked their upper bodies out they just seemed to die right away, they just completely dried out. Before u flick them away, check and see if u see their heads.

These are plaster Bagworms/ They make a cocoon like shelter and d rag it around with them
