Loosen the 13mm bolt on the adjuster underneath and take all the tension off the cable ( Chock the front wheels first!!! ). Remove one rear wheel stud from each rear wheel. Jack up and shine a light through the stud hole. Turn the wheel until you can see the internal adjuster, using a flat screwdriver, adjust the wheel until it locks. Back off the adjuster by 3 clicks. Replace and retorque wheel studs. Adjust the cable adjuster underneath the vehicle until the wheels are free but the handbrake moves about 3 or clicks, tighten the centre bolt and check it is all free and turning. NOT THE OFFICIAL MERC way, that involvees torque wrenches! This way works and holds the vehicle a lot better.
