To change the rear wheel studs on a transit van, first, safely lift and secure the vehicle using jack stands, then remove the wheel by loosening the lug nuts. Next, remove the brake assembly if necessary, and use a hammer to gently drive out the damaged stud from the hub. Insert the new stud from the back of the hub, and secure it using a lug nut to pull it into place, then reassemble the brake and wheel components. Finally, lower the vehicle and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
