What type oil does a Kohler GT riding lawnmower use?

A quality 5w30 full synthetic oil will provide Excellent protection. If it is a modern engine with an oil filter, change both oil and filter every fifty hours or each season, whichever comes first. If it is one of the older Cast iron blocks such as the K-series and the Single cylinder Magnum, change every 25 hours or yearly.
