How do you load a morton H Harris markman 1955-57 bb gun?

Made in 1955. Release the lever on the left side, let the slide pop back. Tip the end of the barrel down. Load a pellet in the top barrel (1) or bb's in the bottom. Close the barrel. push the slide forward. Fire.
