1997 Mariner 9.9 HP spark plug gap?

I have a 1999 mariner 9.9 and the sparkplug gap is 1.5mm (0.06in) according to the owners guide. It says to use spark plug NGK-r plugs partt#BPZ8HS.

I couldn't find those and was told to get champion marine plugs L78YC6 and got those. Havent gotten a chance to try them yet though. hope that helps!
