Et tu, Lamon? Is a reference to Ward H. Lamon, a personal friend and self-appointed bodyguard of President Abraham Lincoln. Although he had warned Lincoln many times of assasination plots he was oldly out of town the night of Licoln's assasination. Sparking some to theorize that he was part of a much larger conspiracy to murder the president and cover it up.
