What is the difference between degradation and conservation?

degradation means use a thing continuously until it finishes

for e.g. we use the resources of earth and it is up to finish

conversation is the opposite of degradation

if means to consume thing and save it for generation for

e.g. now a days we see that most of the buildings use solar energy and because of that we consume much of the minerals used to produce electricity .
