What is a vintage antique flip ring edwardian filigree 10k onyx?

Flip rings have two sides - they flip/spin, swivel on top so that there are two different faces to the ring. If it is truly Edwardian, it is likely a mourning or memorial piece. It's possible the "onyx" is really black glass.
