What parrot is nicknamed the brush-tongued parrot?

Outside of their native habitat of Australia, the lorikeet may be nicknamed the brush-tongued parrot. Also outside of Australia, a lorikeet may sometimes be known as a "lory".

Lorikeets have tiny hair-like brushes on the tip of their tongue. These hairs help the bird to soak up nectar and pollen from inside flowers, which is what they mostly feed on.
