How can plants have a positive impact on people?

Plants take in oxygen just like humans if there are too many plants in a room with no ventalation ( open doors , Windows or vents) they can take the oxygen . Some plants produce a poison to prevent attack from insects and if humans come in contact with this poison it can have a negative reaction to skin and circaltory systerm.
