What do farmers use to get rid of aphids?

Farmers who use organic practices to control pests can buy products that are made from natural sources to spray or dust the infected plants with. They can also use a method of planting called companion planting. Using this method, plants that benefit each other are planted together. In the case of aphids, Nasturtiums and Garlic help control them and can be planted throughout the garden for that purpose. They purchase ladybird beetles, also known as ladybugs, by the thousands and release them near the affected crops, so the ladybugs eat the aphids. Also, other bugs can be released that do no harm to the crops, eat the aphids and have waste, which is good for plant fertilization.
