What are the pros and cons of using coupons while shopping?

The biggest "pro" is that using coupons saves money on that product.

There are 3 "cons" to using coupons:

1) The coupon may be redeemable at a store where you don't normally shop;

2) The coupon may be for a more-expensive product than the one you normally use:

3) You have to save the coupon and remember to use it when you go shopping.
