What is the epidimimus?

The epididymis is a coiled tube located at the back of each testis, playing a crucial role in male reproductive anatomy. It stores and matures sperm cells produced by the testes, facilitating their development into motile and functional sperm. The epididymis is divided into three sections: the caput (head), corpus (body), and cauda (tail), each contributing to different stages of sperm maturation. After maturation, sperm are transported from the epididymis to the vas deferens during ejaculation.
