Where in Washington state are sunflowers grown?

According to this website - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/223/ they can grow in Seattle & Spokane.. I have seen them growing in people's yards in Port Angeles. This leads me to believe that they can be grown all over Washington state.
