Why does dionysus hate owls?

Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, festivity, and ecstasy, is often associated with a plethora of symbols and creatures, but owls are not typically among them. In mythology, owls are more closely tied to Athena, the goddess of wisdom, who is often depicted with them.
