Does pidgin work if you have yahoo id to login to orkut?

Pidgin does not support Yahoo IDs for logging into Orkut, as Orkut has been discontinued since 2014. Pidgin is a multi-protocol instant messaging client that works with various chat services, but you would need to use supported protocols for messaging. Since Orkut is no longer operational, you cannot use any client, including Pidgin, to access it.
