Did the 1971 ford maverick grabber come with a 6-cylinder engine?

Yes, I owned a 1971 (built and purchased in 1970) with a 250 6-Cylinder, automatic and factory air. It was Medium Yellow Gold with a multi-color gold vinyl roof. Interior was black with bench seats. My guess would be that V-8 was not available until after January 1971 when you could get bucket seats with a floor shifter. It was purchased new at McLarty Ford in Texarkana, Texas. I put over 100,000 miles on the car.
