The judges in trampolining have the job of marking the performance of the trampolinist's routine. The correct uniform for a judge is a Navy Blue Blazer, White Blouse/Shirt & BGA Tie, Navy skirt or trousers, Black shoes. The judge should arrive on time and should report to the organiser before the competition begins, and should remain judging throughout the whole competition in their seat. The judge should write down the trampolinists/competitor's number and all notes on their routine, just in case any information is required. The judge has to watch the whole performance of their routine and before calculating their marks look at them for 3 seconds. The judge is responsible for their own marks and notes, they should not be influenced or influence any of the other judges on the panel. The judge should mark the routine on its virtues and what the performance consisted of and not the performer's club or name - otherwise this is seen as a biased mark. A judge should not consume any alcohol before and during the competition and behave politely and supportive to the gymnasts.
