Is the V-Star 1100 or 1300 ok for a 220lb man?

I'm 220 most days and my V* 1300T is more than adequate. It accelerates aggressively, and is effortless at highway speeds. I don't usually even use 5th gear unless I'm at 60 mph. At 70 mph in 5th, it is so quiet I can listen to the typical Harley if it is 1/8 mile behind me.

I cranked it up once and was at just over 90 mph when I grabbed 4th gear. Didn't push it after that. A naked model (no bags windshield etc) would likely do a little better. There are things on the highway faster, but not many, and most of them are other bikes. I've had a few muscle cars, and this will leave them wishing
