Morphine describes a lot of different things. If you're talking about natural morphine extracted from opium, from somniferum poppys, your answer is no. If you mean morphine sulfate (prescription morphine pills), you would be half-right, because it's a semi-synthetic opioid. To the best if my knowlege the closest thing to a fully synthetic morphine would be dolophine (methadone).
