How do you you improve battery life on the ipod touch?

You take the charger and hook one side up to your computer and the other side to your iPod touch. Or you can go to block busters or wal-mart or somewhere else and buy something that hooks up to the wall. If you buy that you can then charge your ipod touch using a power outlet in your home.
