In English grammar when is the word to used and when is too used?

"To" is used when showing movement towards something, as in, "I am going to the store."

"Too" is used in place of the Word "also", as in, "I am going to the store, too."

"Too" is also used in showing excess, as in, "These jeans cost too much!"
