Acrylic house paint is normally a latex paint, so there should be no problem painting over a latex with acrylic. The only exception is if it is a solvent based acrylic silicone type paint. In this case, the coating will melt the latex paint, and if overworked while rolling, mix on the surface, which is normally a driveway or floor, discoloring the top coat.
