The lowest 10 percent earned less than $37,300, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $74,760. According to a salary survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, bachelor's degree candidates in nursing received starting offers averaging $41,060 a year in 2005; master's degree candidates in nursing were initially offered $58,295.
