Can brandy be used in cocktails?

Brandy in Cocktails? Why not? Just like any alcohol, it can be mixed, blended, and in many cases, thoroughly obliterated into a drink concoction. A really, really, good/great brandy is probably best enjoyed "neat" (no ice....no mix) in a snifter. One of the more popular mixed drinks using brandy is a Brandy Alexander:

1 1/2 oz brandy
1 oz dark creme de cacao
1 oz half-and-half
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg

So, yes, Dorothy, you can go back to Kansas and you can use Brandy in Cocktails. Isn't life great ????!!!!
