Small Business Advertising Costs vary widely depending on the medium you choose to use. Small Business Online Advertising is one of the most affordable ways to advertise any size business.

Free:

Luckily, there are many free methods if you are just getting started, including listings on google Local, Yahoo! Local, Bing Local and some others.

Low Cost:

For a low set up fee (under $300 in most cases) you can get small web pages built. Sometimes you will see monthly fees as well that range anywhere from $5-$30 per month. There are also some services that will waive your monthly fees if you don't mind some advertising on your pages (my personal favorite :). Another great tool for SMBs for online advertising include: google AdWords, Facebook, StumbleUpon and ReTargeter.com

The Big Time:

You can also get a full blown website for your business. Websites are good idea for any small business owner, but they can be quite costly. With most websites you will have to pay a monthly hosting fee, again from $5-$30, as well as building fees, and most likely optimization fees. A well built website that is going to generate traffic will probably cost at least $1,000 within the first year. You can get started for under $1,000, but to really make a website worthwhile, that is about what you will need to spend.

As far as offline small business advertising goes, I will have to leave that for someone else to help you with. That is out of my expertise.
