What is trachetis?

Tracheitis is the inflammation of the trachea, the windpipe that connects the throat to the lungs. It is often caused by viral infections, but can also result from bacterial infections or irritants such as smoke. Symptoms typically include a dry cough, difficulty breathing, and a sore throat.
