To take cuttings from a pitcher plant, select a healthy stem with several leaves and cut it just below a leaf node using a sharp, sterile knife. Remove the lower leaves to expose the node and place the cutting in a pot with a suitable medium, like sphagnum moss or a mix of peat and perlite. Keep the soil moist and provide high humidity by covering the pot with a plastic bag or using a humidity dome. Place the pot in a warm, bright location but out of direct sunlight until roots develop, which may take a few weeks.
