What is the theme of the poem blackberry picking?

its about the writer eating blackberries. the first one is sweet. And that the writer want to eat more. They go search for blackberries everywhere. Then the berries start to smell like sour and it start to rot. The writer is sad about it and he wish that the berries can be keep forever.
