Why would a 1994 Chevy Caviler's air conditioner blow fog with the cold air and smell of coolant?

heater core leak...or hose to heater core... a manual will help with diagnosis and repair, and a shop manual should be available at the local library in the reference section, make copies of the right pages, good luck...:)
