Who yelled the lobster backs when the colonists were outside of the custom house?

The term "lobster backs" was used by American colonists to refer to British soldiers because of their red uniforms. The phrase gained prominence during the events surrounding the Boston Massacre in 1770, when tensions were high between the colonists and British troops stationed in the city.
