What do you do to help a service user communicate?

To help a service user communicate, I first create a supportive and welcoming environment that encourages open dialogue. I actively listen to their needs and use clear, simple language to ensure understanding. If necessary, I employ visual aids or alternative communication methods, such as sign language or communication boards, to facilitate expression. Additionally, I remain patient and attentive, allowing them ample time to articulate their thoughts.
