To clean any pottery or electric kettle/jug, use a watered down mixture of CITRIC ACID and water. Boil the jug and add the solution, then let cool down before rinsing. Citric Acid is available fron hardware and health food shops. It has no harmfull effects as it is made fron citrus fruits.
