Veterinarians need to have a working knowledge of mathematics through the Algebra II level (solving equations, solving paired equations, etc), basic statistics and probabilities and understand basic calculus (even if you don't actually integrate or differentiate equations on a daily basis).
In the United States, you must pass Calculus I in college before applying to vet school, and some schools require you to pass Calculus II.
