Who is Erik Weihanmeyer?

Erik Weihenmayer is an American adventurer, author, and motivational speaker best known for being the first blind person to reach the summit of Mount Everest, which he achieved in 2001. He has also climbed the Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each continent, and is a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities.
