What age can you operate a personal water craft in Georgia?

In Georgia, individuals must be at least 12 years old to operate a personal watercraft (PWC) such as a jet ski. However, those aged 12 to 15 can only operate a PWC if they have completed a Georgia Department of Natural Resources-approved boating safety course and are accompanied by a person who is at least 18 years old. Operators 16 years and older do not need to be accompanied by an adult but must still adhere to boating safety regulations.
