How do you reset the 'check engine light' on a 1990 Honda Prelude?

There are three ways to reset the check engine light. The easiest way is to disconnect the battery, and then reconnect. This resets the cars computer. Second, you can plug in a code reader which can reset the computer. Lastly, you can fix the problem. Sometimes the check engine light on a car will come on after a certain amount of miles and either of the first two methods can correct the problem. Usually when the light comes on it is a sign of a real problem and it must be corrected.
