Why is the LeafGreen?

Chlorophyll (the main cell type in green leaves) is a strong absorber of light in the red and blue parts of the spectrum, but not as good in the green; far more green is reflected so that is what we see.

It's kind of funny, because the website thinks you're talking about Pokemon games.
