Being gay or straight is thought to be fixed at birth or in the very early years of his life. So there is no way you can turn. Some churches claim they can but this has never been proven.

Just accept what is, and make the best of it.

Answer:

You don't. It's not something you 'turn' someone into, in either direction, gay -> straight or straight -> gay. A person is or is not or sometimes is some of both.

What you do is say "I love you for who you are and support you whatever you choose. It's unconditional." And then you DO IT (support them unconditionally). Even if they're straight.

Answer:

You are gay from birth, or from very early years of your life, though you probably won't know it till your teens. If you are bisexual, that is, TRULY attracted to men AND women, then you can be straight for some of your life. But at other times you will be gay, so don't go getting married!

There are some churches that claim to be able to turn you straight. Don't believe them.

Turn the question around into "How do I feel good about myself if I am gay?" That's a much easier thing to do. Start by realising that there are millions of gays on the planet. You just don't know any of them yet. And they are all teachers, and bus drivers, and singers and cops and every possible job you can imagine.

Start reading about gay people, find out as much as you can about being gay, and gradually you will start to feel good, then great about yourself. I did.
