How do you remove a oil pan for a 1991 BMW 318i?

Park your car on a flat surface and make sure your engine is cool before going under the car. The oil pan should be on the center of the engine and will be a small pan that you can unscrew. Before draining the oil pan place a oil catch or oil tray underneath the cars oil pan so it can catch the oil that is being drained. Replace the oil into the engine before driving again.
