Self servo action

Self-servo action: Is where a leading shoe is effectively self applied to the drum. During rotation of the tyre, the leading shoe tries to rotate in the direction of the drum and then forms a wedge and eventually effectively applying itself to the drum. I guess that's the best answer you can get
