Where Do You Catch Heracross on Pokemon Silver?

In Silver, I believe you have to headbutt a tree to knock one out .. the locations include: Routes 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46

I couldn't find it for ages as well.....but i think i found the perfect location where he showed up many times....first you have to learn headbutt, then go to route 29, at the end of route 29 there is a berry tree and a boy, headbutt the little trees next to the berry tree...you have to hit the tree about 25 times and even if it says 'nope nothing' keep trying, you will find it eventually!

I can confirm that the little trees behind the berry tree on route 29 have heracross. Time was 10pm, if that matters.
