How did chechoslovakia get into World War 2?

Germany annexed the German-inhabited Sudetenland region in 1938, after the Munich agreement. This left Czechoslovakia vulnerable, and the following year, Hitler broke the agreement and annexed the remainder of the Czech lands, leaving Slovakia as a German puppet state.
