What is the country of origin of gold?

There is no specific country which is the origin of the metal we call Gold.

It occurs in various concentrations anywhere where there has been volcanic activity in prehistory. Some of the places that export gold are:

Wales & Cornwall in England

South Africa

Nigeria Africa

Lower Egypt and Ethiopia

Canada

North America (USA)

South America

Russia

I'm sure that there are many other places that I have missed but it gives you an idea.
