What do you do with a Honda Nighthawk that idles very low and even turns off once you push the choke back in after giving it a long time to warm up?

Charge and check your battery. Charging systems in these bikes are notoriously not amazing. Nighthawks have electronic ignitions which controls idle speed automatically. I.e. if the battery power isn't there, theres no idle = bike dies. Might want to look into a new voltage regulator if problem is persistant. Or, just use a battery tender frequently.
