When was TSA established?

TSA (Transportation Security Administration) was created in the wake of 9/11 in, but was not fully operational until 2002.

Technically, TSA was created by The Aviation and Transportation Securities Act, passed by the 107th Congress on November 19, 2001. In March, 2003, TSA moved under the Department of Homeland Security.
