Why do people get GENITAL piercings?

I wouldn't really know.. I don't have one.. But I think theres more to it then "because they are freaky." I've heard its more pleasurable during sex and if your sex life is dead it makes things a little bit more exciting. Ha i honestly wouldn't know if this is a valid point but I've heard it several times. Also I've heard that when a women gets a genital piercing even walking in pleasurable? I'm not sure if you could trust that but it seems possible. Maybe. Personally I just think its a trend for pornstars and boys who are rather brave, who wants a needle through there private areas.. seriously.
