Can a 1300cc motorcycle be triked without problems?

I have seen several Honda Goldwings where I live that have been made into trikes.

They either look good or awful. There is no middle ground. Shaftdrive bikes are easier than chain or belt. There are several rear frames available off-the-shelf that fit where the rear swing arm fits. On a 1300cc trike, Jaguar running gear and double wishbone suspension is common. As its a 1300 (heavy) you might want to consider fitting a reverse gear. There are several types available. In UK there are some interesting hoops to jump through to get it registered (if necessary) as a trike.
