Apparently there are no 4-legged insects....then what is in my backyard?

My browser wouldn't let me add more to that question, this insect has a flat reddish-brown triangular body. Actually looks like the front of a barn haha, it has 4 legs and the front 2 actually look like they are made of 4 tiny rocks stacked on top of each other. The 2 back legs are very short and stick straight out. I got a pic with my iphone and will upload as soon as I can.
